Outdoor FP-VRC Car Elevator for Multi-Level Vehicle Access
A customized four-post FP-VRC vehicle lift provides vertical access between four building levels while keeping the external footprint compact.
Project configuration: 1 FP-VRC unit · 4,000 kg capacity · 12,500 mm lifting height · 4 stops · outdoor installation · hydraulic drive.
Project Overview
This Russia project required a direct vertical connection between several vehicle access levels located along the outside of the building. Instead of dedicating a large circulation area to a conventional ramp, the project uses one customized FP-VRC four-post car elevator.
The lift structure, platform size, travel and stop positions were coordinated with the architectural openings of the building. This makes FP-VRC suitable for project-specific applications where the available footprint is limited and floor-to-floor vehicle access must be integrated into the architecture.
Product: FP-VRC
Quantity: 1 unit
Capacity: 4,000 kg
Lifting height: 12,500 mm
Stops: 4 levels
Installation: Outdoor

The outdoor structure is aligned with the building façade and the required landing levels.
Why a Vertical Car Elevator Was Used
The available lifting zone is directly beside the building, so the system had to fit within a narrow external area and stop accurately at the required floors. In this type of project, a vertical vehicle lift can reduce the horizontal circulation space normally required by a ramp.
Direct floor-to-floor vehicle movement. The platform transports the vehicle vertically between designated levels.
Customized dimensions. The system can be engineered around the actual vehicle envelope and available installation area.
Multiple stopping levels. One lift can connect several floors when required by the project.
Outdoor application. The configuration can be adapted for external installation subject to final engineering and local site conditions.
Hydraulic Lifting and Chain Transmission
FP-VRC uses hydraulic lifting combined with chain transmission to move the platform vertically along the four-post structure. The project integrates the lifting mechanism, guide elements, sensors and floor-level control into one customized system.

Project-Specific Technical Parameters
The values below are taken from the engineering drawing for this installation and describe this specific Russia project.

Model: FP-VRC
Quantity: 1 unit
Lifting capacity: 4,000 kg
Lifting height: 12,500 mm
Overall structural height: approx. 12,850 mm
Overall length: approx. 5,500 mm
Overall width: approx. 3,000 mm
Clear internal width: approx. 2,520 mm
Foundation pit: approx. 200 mm
Pump pressure: 18 MPa
Lifting speed: 66 mm/s (about 4 m/min)
Motor power: 5.5 kW
Stops: 4 levels
Safety note: FP-VRC is intended for elevating vehicles or goods only. Passengers must not ride on the platform during operation. Civil works, electrical supply and structural interfaces must follow the approved project documentation and applicable local requirements.

Architectural Integration
The project photographs show how the car elevator is coordinated with the building rather than installed as a stand-alone standard product. The platform has to arrive at the correct level while the lift structure remains within the available external footprint.
Applications of this type can be relevant to commercial properties, industrial facilities, private garages, vehicle storage buildings and retrofit projects where a conventional ramp is difficult to accommodate.
Information Needed for a Similar FP-VRC Project
For project evaluation, Hydro Park normally needs the project location, architectural drawings, required lifting height, number of stops, floor-to-floor dimensions, vehicle dimensions and weight, available installation footprint, access direction and information about planned civil works.
These inputs allow the lift to be configured around the real building conditions instead of relying on generic catalogue dimensions.
